ADULT CONFIRMATION and OCIA (formerly RCIA)
If you are an ADULT SEEKING TO BE CONFIRMED or an ADULT INTERESTED IN BECOMING CATHOLIC, we currently have two programs in place to assist you:
- The OCIA PROGRAM is for adults who would like to become Catholic. (OCIA stands for- Order of Christian Initiation of Adults. Formerly this program was called RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.) PRIOR TO COMPLETING THE FORM BELOW, PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.
Fr. Raymond meets weekly in a small group setting, beginning in October, with those who want to learn more about our Catholic faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of the Church, and participants prepare to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist during the Easter season. - Our ADULT CONFIRMATION PROGRAM at St. Paul Parish is for adult Catholics, 18 years of age and older, who have been baptized and received 1st Holy Communion, but never received the Sacrament of Confirmation for various reasons and would like to be Confirmed. Over the past several years, our parish has held a six week Adult Confirmation Program twice per year, one session in the spring and another in the fall. PRIOR TO COMPETING THE FORM BELOW, PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS.
- Our six (6) week Spring 2025 program will begin on March 2nd. The program will culminate with the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 7:00pm.
