Our Senior Citizens
The committee for our senior citizens will be meeting this week. We had several great volunteers come forward. At their first meeting, the committee will begin to formulate a pastoral plan for anyone in our parish needing a little extra assistance or wishing to receive Holy Communion. I would ask you to please keep our senior citizens and this important initiative in your prayers.
Next week, I will make my first ever Annual Report at all the Mass. Last Tuesday night, the finance committee and I spent 2 hours reviewing all of our financial reports. We are making every effort to present our parish financial situation in a clear and transparent way to the members of the parish. I do not believe that our Annual Report should be only finances. In my brief presentation, I will also present the demographics of our parish, parishioner involvement, maintenance concerns, and needed capital improvements on our buildings. I hope to do all of this in 10 minutes. I will be available with some members of the Parish Finance Committee to answer any questions you might have regarding our financial standing and the parish in general. The date and time of this information session will be announced in next week's bulletin. God Bless!
