Good things are happening at Saint Paul School and we are so excited to share them with you!
Our students attended their second school Mass this week.
Father Martin reinforced the concept of compassion, our virtue of the month, as he lovingly welcomed all students to the Church. Our second graders did a fantastic job working with their teacher, Ms. Rachel Niland, to select readings and lead the whole school in song.
Our Smart Boards are now fully installed in grades 6-8 and in our media center. Our Kindergarten class, with teacher Mrs. Kim Pelczar, was the first to use the new technology in a lesson based on The Hungry Caterpillar. Father Robert and I observed students who were actively engaged in their reading instruction and moving through all levels of Bloom’s taxonomy from basic knowledge and recall all the way up to synthesis and evaluation. It was amazing to see how one piece of technology completely changed a reading lesson. Kudos to Mrs. Pelczar for leading the way with our new technology!
As always, feel free to stop by for a tour and see for yourself what’s new and noteworthy at Saint Paul School!
Warmly,
