Fr. Raymond will give a power point presentation on the meaning of the SACRED TRIDUUM on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 – 7:00 to 8:30 PM in our Church Hall. As the Lenten season ends and the Easter season begins, it is important to recognize the transitional days that lie between these two seasons of the Church.
The Triduum marks the solemn end of Lent and the beginning of the remembrance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. The Triduum literally means "three days." The Triduum is observed from Holy Thursday through Easter morning. Each day has its own special meaning in the Church and at Saint Paul’s we want to celebrate them in a most meaningful way. Fr. Raymond’s presentation will highlight the liturgical celebration of the Triduum and bring out the meaning for us as we celebrate this event in our church.
