Greccio
800th Anniversary
Special Event
Sunday, December 17, 2023
It was Saint Francis of Assisi who set up the first manger in Greccio, Italy in 1223 to contemplate the realness of the Incarnation.
St. Paul Parish's 2023 Greccio Event will be held on Sunday, December 17 to commemorate the anniversary of the first live nativity.
This anniversary is especially meaningful to us here at St. Paul Parish - a Franciscan Family of Faith!
The event will begin at 4pm with a LIVE outdoor nativity scene including animals, music and more. The concert and nativity play will be held in St. Paul Church beginning at 5pm. A festive Reception will be held after the main event with a special gift for visitors, door prizes, hot chocolate and Christmas treats, a child's craft table, a unique Nativity slide show and more!
