Berlin Fair Volunteers
The Berlin Fair is always a huge endeavor for us. This week you will find a volunteer sheet stuffed in the bulletin. Please consider helping out at the St. Paul Booth this year. The volunteer sheet is easy to fill out. It usually takes around 130 volunteers to staff our booth for the weekend. Thanks so much.
Registered ?
We are in the process of sending out letters to every family who had their children enrolled in Religious Education last year but failed to sign them up this year. This is a lot of work but I assure it is worth it. If you haven’t sign your kids up yet, or if your Grandchildren haven’t been signed up yet, please make an effort to do so ASAP. All of the classes are pretty much set and there is limited availability.
Parking, Parking, Parking
This week, some more work was done on the temporary KGS parking lot. The path to the lot was more clearly defined with some rope and cones, and several of the areas where the pavement was broken up have been filled with millings. We could still use some more millings if anyone knows where we can get them. When coming to Mass or our School, please feel free to park where the former Tennis Courts used to be. The entrance to the lot is from Grove Hill St.
Saint Paul School Students Return
Last Wednesday, we welcomed back 215 students on their 1st day of school, along with new faces in Pre K and a few of the upper grades. We will begin the year with a “back to school” Mass on Wednesday, September 10th, at 9:00 AM. All parents and parishioners are invited to attend.
State of the School Meeting
The success of any school, especially a small Catholic School, depends on the sacrifices of everyone involved. In order to know when and where to make your contribution, you have to be informed. This Thursday, September 4th, at 6:30pm, we will be having our annual State of the School meeting. Both a number of the staff, the administration and myself will be bringing our parents and constituents up to date on important issues for our school. If you have children in our school, please do your best to attend this important annual meeting. If your grandchildren attend Saint Paul’s, please help encourage one or both of their parents to attend.
