It’s Monday, and only a couple of us are in the office trying to get things done before the storm rolls in and before the lights go out. The wind is picking up and Fr. Peter can’t get back into Connecticut because the roads are closed.
Please be assured that the friars are praying for everyone, especially those who are alone and afraid. I assure you we are very close to you in prayer. Tonight when I go and sit before the Blessed Sacrament, (It’s a short trip for me) I promise to bring all of you with me.
If the storm is a big one, we’ll start making calls tomorrow to check on people. The teams are all set and several people have volunteered to help. If all goes as we hope, and the storm is not a big one, tomorrow we will be saying a prayer of thanksgiving. I just wanted to let you know that we were thinking of you.
