I’m Back
This has been some year. In September we emptied out Mom’s house. In April, I emptied out Mom’s apartment and now all that remains of Mom’s belongings are six boxes in the Parish Center attic. Almost all of her bills are paid though I have not been successful in turning off her phone yet. (I just can’t part with the number... maybe next month). Now all I have to do is finish up Mom’s estate. I am so grateful for everyone’s understanding when I am away to take care of all of these things.
Maybe In the news
As I write this, I am hearing rumors that things might be moving in Fr. Michael’s case. I promise to keep you informed of any developments should they happen. Throughout this whole ordeal I have always strived to be as open and honest about everything. Please continue to pray with me for everyone involved in this tragedy.
We cleaned up nicely
When you have a chance, be sure to stop over and see how much our parishioners have cleaned up behind the KGS property. Last weekend they took down several trees and picked up a ton of debris. Though I haven’t been able to get in touch with lawn service, I hope that we can have the grass cut over there by the weekend. Some of the parishioners are exploring a path from the parking lot to the sidewalk and they are looking at ways to smooth out the areas around what used to be the tennis court. A special thank you to everyone who has helped with this project so far. Your efforts are most appreciated.
Great News...
I am so happy to tell you that our expanded Pre-K program is just about filled! We have done a lot of aggressive marketing. You just can’t be quiet when you have such a great program. If you or anyone you know is interested, it would be best to apply soon because spaces are limited. I’m sure you will agree that the increased interest in our school is a testament to the fine teachers, a great administration, very competent staff and generous family involvement, not to mention our incredible kids!!!
