December 13 – Apologetics – Defending the Faith
While most of us will never be great theologians or philosophers, non-Catholics and non-believers will often compel us to explain our Catholic faith. Being asked to explain our faith is often referred to as Apologetics. These are great opportunities for us as Catholics to dispel the myths that they may hold, and to draw others into a deeper relationship with Christ and his Church.
Question: What can you do to prepare yourself for these encounters? Answer: Continue to learn about your faith through parish programs, read your Bible, and reference your catechism. Your next opportunity will be this Wednesday at 7:00 PM when Fr. Charles will lead us with a presentation and discussion on Apologetics. Please join us in the St Paul Church Hall for information, discussion, and fellowship that will help to strengthen your ability to defend the Faith.
