I grew up in Newtown, CT and still visit my family often, especially my Italian nonna. I attended the Franciscan University of Steubenville, studying both theology and history. I played NCAA Division 3 soccer all four years while at college in Ohio, and I continue to play in adult leagues and help coach youth. I have been serving our St. Paul Parish community for about two years and love being a part of the ministry to the young people of our parish community.
I grew up going to Catholic school, but although I knew a lot about my faith, it was not at all important in my life. Near the end of high school, I attended a Steubenville retreat which rocked my world! I left the retreat making a commitment to God that I would make my faith the center of my life. My friends from the retreat and from my youth group helped me to grow and we challenged each other to be better people, better Catholics.
Seeing the life-changing effect that youth ministry had on my life, I am so excited to be bring the same opportunities to our parish and the town of Berlin. I want to share my faith to the youth so they can grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. I am blessed to be a part of God’s work, through the Berlin Catholic Youth Ministry.
