On Friday May 6th, Miss Brandl's 1st grade class held a Muffins with Mom event. This was a morning to commemorate all the hard work moms do and the love they give to their children each and every day. Muffins, coffee, and tea were served, while Moms and kids chatted and munched.
Each child presented an ode to mom, explaining how their moms are special. The morning ended with hand-painted jewelry boxes for mom. The event was so much fun the kids are already requesting a Doughnuts with Dad event for Father's Day. Great job, first grade!
