Patrick and Pals – Advocacy for Our Special-Needs Kids
Team “Patrick and Pals” is getting ready for another charge at the Hartford Marathon activities on Saturday, October 13th – running and walking to support the CT Down Syndrome Congress (CDSC), the primary advocate in CT for those folks with Down Syndrome. Our goal is to support CDSC in helping to promote awareness of, advocacy for, and acceptance of those with Down Syndrome, and improving their quality of life.

This year’s team will be involved in most of the racing activities. We’ll have our tried and true 5k walkers and runners, as well as a couple of marathon relay teams, and even a few marathoners and half-marathoners. We’ve got 55 team members all together, and every one of these 55 lives has been lovingly touched by our special kids. Pretty exciting stuff!!
