The Knights of Columbus would like to thank all who helped honor our town’s military veterans last Sunday at the VFW. While the Knights provided a free breakfast to our town’s veterans, many residents stopped in for breakfast and personally thanked the veterans for their service to our country. By combining the proceeds from this breakfast with other funds, the K of C donated $500 to the Veterans’ Memorial Park Fund, to be used to maintain the monuments and the park, (on Veterans Way, across from the Stop and Shop).

The K of C collected toiletries, clothing, blankets and tote bags for the residents of the Veterans Home and Hospital in Rocky Hill. A large quantity of items were collected; and they were turned over to the VFW for delivery to the Veterans Home. The Knights wish to thank all for their tremendous demonstration of support for our military veterans.
