To all those who responded to the parish-wide email concerning CT House Bills 5416 and 5417, THANK YOU! How appropriate that on the Monday of Holy Week, two bills that took aim at the sanctity of human life died in committee. Although the legislative session does not end until May, and there is a remote possibility that both proposals could resurface attached to another piece of legislation, the voices of those who hold steadfast to the belief that all life has value have been heard and heeded.
