Children’s Choir

Our St. Paul “Exultations” Children’s Choir is a wonderful way for your child to experience the joy of singing in an ensemble and a special way to participate in the liturgy.

If your child is interested in joining Exultations or if you’d like to receive information about future singing opportunities and events, please complete the form below. All children in Grades 1-8 are most welcome!

The Director of the Children’s Choir is Cheryl Kramer-Tierney. Cheryl is a vocal music teacher in the West Hartford Public Schools. She received a Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees from the Hartt School of Music. She has been a frequent clinician for local school districts and many national music organizations. Cheryl is a former faculty member of the InterMuse Academy at Brigham Young University and currently teaches Choral Pedagogy at Hartt School of Music. In 2008, Cheryl was named Choral Director of the Year by the Connecticut Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association.

Rehearsals are held once per week, typically on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:30pm in the church. The Children’s Choir performs at our Sunday Children’s Masses throughout the year, at our annual Greccio Concert and Pageant during Advent, and other special events.
