The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) assists in the evaluation of Saint Paul Parish’s use of Technology and our ongoing technological needs. Over the past years, projects have been completed to upgrade our technological capabilities for our Parishioners, our Parish staff, our Ministries and our Parish school. The current TAC focus is on privacy and security practices across the parish along with Artificial Intelligence.

Cybersecurity is an essential component within our parish operations. It plays a vital role in protecting both the church’s mission and its community. As more administrative functions, parishioner communications, financial records, and event coordination move into digital platforms, robust Cybersecurity safeguards ensure that sensitive data is protected from unauthorized access, fraud, and disruption of parish operations. This includes adhering to applicable regulatory requirements which allows our Parish to attain affordable Cybersecurity Insurance, along with a safer data environment for our Parish and School.

The TAC ministry assists our Parish and School Administrators and Boards, our Pastoral and Finance Council and our Parish Technology Service Providers.

TAC consists of Chuck Tencza, Bill Richards and Ed Schmitt. Our Parish Business Manager Patrick Hyjek and Father Michael oversee this ministry. If you have an interest in this ministry or would like more information regarding TAC activities, please reach out to Chuck Tencza at tenz5@comcast.net.
