Faces of the Homeless Presentation

Our Social Action Ministry will host a special presentation, Faces of the Homeless, on Thursday, July 30th, starting at 6:30 pm. in the Church Hall. The guest speaker for this event will be Rosemary Rainey, a member of the Faces of Homelessness Speakers’ Bureau. She will provide information about homelessness, factors affecting the unhoused community in CT, and about the work of the Hands On Hartford organization. Rainey and other members of the Faces of the Homeless Speakers’ Bureau travel throughout the state to “share their own experiences of homelessness, dispel myths, educate audiences on the causes of homelessness, and encourage others to get involved in making positive changes in the community.” Learn more at handsonhartford.org, and we hope to see you at this special event on July 30th!
